Recreation Programs

Registration for all pool related summer activities will open on May 1st at 8:00 am. All activities are first come first served.

  • When looking to register, all registration is done online under our “Registration” tab (Directly below the “Recreation Programs” tab).

4th of July Parade: 

  • Registration will open on June 1st.
  • The parade will begin at 10 am for spectators, and anyone participating needs to register under our "Registration" tab. 
  • Everyone spectating is to sit South of Target Rd. to ensure they do not miss any part of the parade. 
  • The parade will be dismissed as follows:
    • 1st: Color Guard, 2nd: Military, 3rd: Horses, 4th: Clean-up Crew, 5th:Antique Cars/ Tractors, 6th: Mainstreet, 7th: Dry Float, and 8th: Water & Political Group-Wet (10 minutes after Dry Floats)

Swim Lessons:

  • Swim lessons are $50.00 per kid, are Monday-Friday, and last for two weeks. Lessons are designed for ages 3 years and up.
  • During swim lessons, parents and spectators may watch from the pool deck and grassy areas. All non-swim lesson patrons must stay out of the water.
  • The first session is offered June 1st-12th. The second session is offered June 15th-26th. The third session is offered from June 29th to July 10th. The final session is offered July 13th- July 24th.
    • Time slots offered for each session are 9:00-9:30 am, 9:45-10:15 am, 10:30-11:00 am, and 11:15-11:45 am. (Levels 1,2,3 are offered during all time slots except 9:45-10:15 am. Levels 1,2,4 will be offered during the 9:45-10:15 am time slot.
  • Level 1 has availability for 5 swimmers, level 2 has availability for 5 swimmers, level 3 has availability for 7 swimmers, and level 4 has availability for 10 swimmers.
  • Level 1: Intro-level swimming primarily focuses on learning to be comfortable in the water, develop a positive attitude, good swimming habits, and safe practices.
  • Level 2: Builds on level 1 and includes fundamentals for freestyle, breaststroke, and backstroke. Practices holding breath underwater (finding dive toys), kicking with a kickboard, floating, and learning the arm strokes.
  • Level 3: Builds on level 2 and includes learning how to swim longer distances in deeper water, and developing the technique, and breathing skills for freestyle, breaststroke, and backstroke.
  • Level 4: Builds on level 3 and includes swimming the full 25 yards of the pool in freestyle, breaststroke, and backstroke. Butterfly will be taught and practiced using the 25 yards. Diving skills are obtained and practiced as well.

Pool Parties:

Please see below for information on the 2026 pool parties: 

  • Pool parties will be offered Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm.
  • $350.00 for up to 75 people and an additional $50 for every 25 people after.
  • Pool parties will only be refunded due to bad weather.
  • Food and beverages are allowed however, no glass containers or alcohol is allowed. Smoking is not permitted in the pool area.
  • Pool party rules are the same as open swim.
  • The dates available for parties will begin on May 29th and the last available will be on August 2nd. Pool parties sell fast, so be sure to log on and have a few dates in mind. You can create an Active account beforehand to make the process faster. Again, the only days included within the stated dates are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. (One date has been excluded. July 4th will not be available when booking as we are closed for the holiday.

 

Corrales Adult Volleyball League: (Spring Sport)

  • The goal of this program is to provide adults in Corrales and surrounding areas with an inexpensive volleyball program that emphasizes a healthy lifestyle, community, and fun. This league is best suited for those who are looking for a low-commitment league, as this league involves a total of 9 games in the season.
  • Games will be held in the evenings twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Times will be determined once all teams have registered. The league dates will be May 19th - June 16th.
  • Registration for the 2026 season will open on April 6th and close on May 3rd. All registration is done online under our “Registration” tab.
    • When registering, please note that it is free to sign up; however, there will be a team fee of $450 for the season.
    • Everyone playing on a team must fill out a registration form and will be required to turn in a photocopy of their ID. They can also be emailed to Mekenzie at MJenkins [at] corrales-nm.org (MJenkins[at]corrales-nm[dot]org).
    • Participants must be eighteen years of age at the time of play, NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Upon Registration, include the team captain's name in order to be added to the correct team
    • If you have no team to join, singles will have their own team if enough join (6-15). Singles will then have to agree on a team captain, or a team captain will be assigned.
  • Team fees will be required to be turned in on or before the team meeting day (the meeting day will be announced). Fees must be turned in all at once, and refunds will not be offered unless the league is canceled. One payment will be accepted from the team captain. It is the player’s responsibility to make their payment to their team captain. (More information on this will be provided to captains upon registration).
  • Teams will also be required to create their own team jerseys, which must be uniform in color with jersey numbers permanently affixed to the jersey. Please see the Rules and Regulations for more information. 

Corrales Youth Volleyball: (Summer-Fall Sport)

  • The next season's registration will open in mid-June 2026 and will close mid-late July.
  • More information will be posted closer to this time.

Corrales Youth Basketball: (Winter Sport)

  • Registration for the 2026-27 season will open Mid-September of 2026.
  • More information will be posted closer to this time.

Corrales Adult Basketball: (Spring Sport)

  • The next season's registration will open in mid-January 2027 and will close early March.
  • More information will be posted closer to this time.
