The Corrales Police Department also coordinates Cops and Crayons every year, which is a school supply drive for children.  Corrales residents can drop off supplies or gift cards to the police department in the weeks before school begins, then the CPD officers deliver backpacks full of supplies to the schools to help children in need.

Officers and kids around the Christmas tree

Cops for Kids is an annual holiday event where officers are paired with a child for a day of food, music, crafts, and lots of fun. CPD participates along with other law enforcement agencies in the area to help underprivileged kids.

Trick or Trunk event

Corrales Police also are always on-hand for community events like the annual Trunk or Treat event, held every year on Halloween and sponsored by the Corrales Parks and Recreation Department. CPD can also be seen interacting with the community during the annual Harvest Festival in September, and at the annual 4th of July and Starlight Parades.
